Organic Indian Almond Leaf

1.49

Grade A Organic XL Indian Almond Leaves.

3 premium Indian Almond Leaves that measure about 8-10" long. I will do my best to packages these so that they arrive in tact, however there is a possibility that they could cracked during the shipping process. Fortunately they can still be added to your aquarium, terrarium regardless of cracks.

Indian Almond Leaves  are very beneficial for fish that like more acidic conditions. As the leaves decompose in the water they release a substance known as 'Tannins'. Tannins are known to provide anti-fungal and antimicrobial properties. They help to recreate natural conditions thus reducing stress, improving fish coloration, providing natural hiding spaces, and a source of nutrients for some aquatic life.

Directions for use in aquariums:
- On average add 1 leaf per 5-10g of water.
- Leaves last approximately 1 month.
- As they start to disintegrate you can remove and replace with a new leaf.
- Some people advise that you rinse them before use or boil them prior to use. We feel that adding them dry produces the best results.
